Design Thinking For Sustainability Education Project Management Meeting Was Held Online

Design Thinking For Sustainability Education(DT4S) Project (2019-1-TR01-KA201-076710), supported by the European Commission through Turkish National Agency under Erasmus + Program School Education Programme, has been carried out by the Governorship of Istanbul (Turkey), Virtual Campus (Portugal), Advanced Technology Systems (Romania), Tallinn University (Estonia) and Thessaly University (Greece) between 01/09/2019 -31/08/2021. DT4S aims to raise the awareness of secondary school students aged 12-16 and to develop their basic knowledge, positive attitudes, problem solving skills, collaboration ability and synthesis skills with innovative solutions in order to prepare them for active participation in sustainable development practices.


The 2nd internetaional project management meeting was held online on the 2nd of October 2020 with the participation of partner institutions due to the CoVid-19 pandemic.

At the meeting, the “Active Methodological Learning Framework for Developing Sustainability Skills Through Design Thinking” was reviewed. The features of the “A Digital Learning Platform for Building Sustainability Skills Through Design Thinking Principles” developed within the scope of the project were examined. Project implementation and management processes were evaluated. In the following period, “Sustainability Education Activities for Deployment Through The DT4S Platform” will be developed and offered to the beneficiaries at the DT4S Platform.
