Design Thinking For Sustainability Education Project Kick-off Meeting Was in İstanbul
JANUARY 20th-21st, 2020
Design Thinking For Sustainability Education(DT4S) Project (2019-1-TR01-KA201-076710), carried out by the coordination of European Union and Foreign Relations Office on behalf of the Governorship of Istanbul, is supported by the European Commission through Turkish National Agency under Erasmus + Program School Education Programme. Partners of DT4S Project are the Virtual Campus (Portugal), Advanced Technology Systems (Romania), Tallinn University (Estonia) and Thessaly University (Greece) and the project is going to be carried out 01/09/2019 -31/08/2021. The main objectives of the project are to raise the awareness of secondary school students aged 12-16 and to develop their basic knowledge, positive attitudes, problem solving skills, collaboration ability and synthesis skills with innovative solutions in order to prepare them for active participation in sustainable development practices. The kick-off meeting of the project was realized on 20 January 2020 in İstanbul under the hosting of the coordinator GOI with the participation of all partners in İstanbul,Turkey. In the meeting, partners presented their organisations. GOI made a general presentation of project background. Project activities and responsibilities were reviewed. Virtual Campus presented wokring plan for IO1 and UTH presented wokring plan for IO2.
The dissemination plan and quality management plan were presented, the details and templates were discussed. The tasks to be done in the next 6 months were agreed by all partners. The next meeting is agreed to be held in Greece.
